Alan and Patricia Campbell embarked on a 6 month caravan trek around Australia never dreaming their lives would be turned upside down by a cute and cuddly little bear.

During the first leg of their journey they bought a charming bear and named him Bromley. They decked him out in a striped t shirt and an Aussie bush-hat and thought he was perfect for a series of adventure books.

They set out to chronicle the young bear's exploits.

Alan and Patricia proved the perfect team to unleash a new super hero on young readers. Such was Bromley's appeal, the 6 month caravan trek stretched into a 52 thousand kilometre 18 month trip.

The pair photographed Bromley and his friends, Skye, a magic flying unicorn and Koala, in various scenes all over the country.

The unique "Adventures of Bromley Bear" series was a publishing sensation, mainly because Bromley is more than a bear with a name. He has experienced the dangers, joys and fun of living an adventurous life.
